I’m Teal Standen, owner of Teal’s Gardening Services (TGS).  I offer a professional and reliable gardening service throughout Hampshire and Wiltshire.

Established in 2010 TGS has built a strong portfolio of both regular garden maintenance clients and one off projects.  I have developed a hardworking and reliable team that I am proud to represent TGS.  They all have an excellent and varied skill set as our testimonials page reveals.

We believe gardens to be very personal; our priority is to ensure each garden is maintained and completed exactly as the client imagines it to be. We achieve this through working alongside clients and their ideas.

The team has a variety of qualifications in horticulture and arboriculture including:

  • RHS Principles of Horticulture
  • Chemical spraying to PA1 and PA6
  • Small tree felling and climbing

TGS is committed to being an environmentally responsible and sustainable company:

  • We are a licensed waste carrier and waste is disposed of legally and responsibly.
  • Where practicable green waste is disposed of at a local facility that turns your waste into compost to be used in other gardens!
  • Where possible we will chip and log trees for your own use.
  • We champion supporting local businesses and locally source plants, trees, fencing and landscaping materials.
  • We use a lot of power tools, so with that in mind we use environmentally friendly oils. Our chainsaw oil is Stihl BioPlus which is vegetable based and biodegrades completely and very quickly and does not pollute waterways.  Our 2 stroke oil is Husqvarna XP which is a fully synthetic, biodegradable oil that has low smoke emissions.
  • All power tools are regularly serviced by a local supplier, ensuring they are operating at maximum efficiency and minimising environmental damage
